Refund & Cancellation Policy

At MW Smart Homes, our goal is to deliver professional, reliable smart automation services and support. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds work for our services, installations, and subscription plans.

Installation & Service Work Refunds

Because our services involve time, professional labor, planning, and installed equipment, installation and service fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

Refunds may be available only if:

  • Work has not yet started AND

  • No equipment has been ordered or configured

If equipment has already been purchased or reserved, restocking or cancellation fees may apply depending on supplier policies.

Products & Equipment

All hardware, devices, and technology equipment purchased through MW Smart Homes are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and return rules.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Used equipment

  • Installed equipment

  • Damaged equipment caused by customer misuse

  • Equipment outside warranty coverage

If a device is defective under warranty, we will assist with repair, replacement, or support following manufacturer terms.

Subscription & Support Plans (SmartCare)

First-Time Purchase

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once activated, as they provide immediate access to support and digital resources.

Cancellation

You may cancel future billing at any time after any required minimum commitment period stated in your agreement.

When cancelled:

  • Service remains active until the end of the paid billing cycle

  • No partial month refunds are provided

  • Annual plans are non-refundable once activated unless required by law

Missed Appointments & Rescheduling

If a scheduled appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled:

  • Please notify us at least 24–48 hours in advance (you choose the number)

  • Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a service fee

This protects our team’s time and scheduling.

Project Deposits

Some projects may require a deposit before work begins. Deposits are used to secure labor scheduling and order equipment.

Deposits are:

  • Refundable only if work has not been scheduled and no equipment has been ordered

  • Non-refundable once preparation or ordering has begun

Satisfaction & Support
